About

About BloomingBecomingMe

I spent years thinking certain things about myself were personality flaws.

Too sensitive. Too emotional. Too anxious. Too much. Not enough.

Then I started learning about trauma, nervous-system responses, emotional safety, boundaries, and the ways we adapt to the environments we grow up in.

I realized: a lot of what I thought was "who I am" was actually what I learned to do to survive.

The Story

I spent most of my life in survival mode and didn't even know it. I thought the way I felt was just… who I was. Anxious, exhausted, always bracing for something. Never fully safe, even when nothing was wrong.

I was raised to be small. To not want too much. To make myself easy to manage. And for a long time, I did exactly that — until my body started telling me the truth my mind kept trying to hide.

Healing didn't start with a mindset shift or a morning routine. It started when I finally understood what my nervous system was doing and why. When I stopped fighting myself and started listening. The more I regulated, the more I reclaimed — my voice, my choices, myself.

Why BloomingBecomingMe Exists

BloomingBecomingMe was created for the woman who is ready to understand herself — not shame herself. For the woman who wants to stop living entirely from survival mode and begin finding her way back to herself.

This is a space where psychology and nervous system education are made understandable in real life — so you can recognize your patterns, build emotional safety, set boundaries without abandoning yourself, and make choices that feel like your own again.

What I Believe

  • ·You aren't broken. You adapted.
  • ·Healing is not linear, and that's okay
  • ·Your nervous system is not broken — it's protecting you
  • ·Boundaries are an act of love, not selfishness
  • ·Safety is the foundation everything else is built on
  • ·You can bloom without pretending you were never in the dirt

About the Founder

I'm Aleksandra — a mom of three, educator, author, and the person behind BloomingBecomingMe. I started this work at the lowest point of my life — when my body broke down and took everything with it. Six months of stillness I didn't choose. And somehow, in that stillness, everything I'd been through finally had somewhere to go.

I'm an educator, not a therapist. My work shares trauma-informed psychology and nervous system education in language that's actually usable — combining what I've studied with somatic practices and honest conversation. I created The Bloom Reset, the 365 Days of Blooming Prompt Journal, and the upcoming book Love Yourself Out Loud because I needed these tools myself — and I know I'm not the only one.

You don't need to become someone new. You need to come home to yourself.

If something in you recognizes this — you're in the right place. From survival mode to safety. From safety to self-trust. From self-trust to self-reclamation. That's what all of this is for.
